Weird Job Interview

I apply for some job on jobstreet and voila someone called me for interview for some marketing trainee job. Google around and some bad comment about the company. con case and so on...
Don't bother about the comment, i just go to the company for interview. The company look nice with many big corporate company logo as their customer. Look impressive at 1st.

The interview start with the person in charge(partner) asked 6 of us to watch some company intro video....that look very impressive. After that proceed with some briefing on the job scope...ohwell surprise come....the job is a sales job asking us to sell maxis home fibre optic broadband...well but the person in charge keep insisting that "it is not solely sales job" and in 3 months time you can become a manager....

After some briefing...he asked 2 ppl to bring me out to show me how the job is conducted live....we walked to the nearby brickfield and they start going shop by shop promoting the maxis home plan...they even asked me to stand beside to look at the way they conducted it.

To me there is nothing special on the way they conducted as claim by the person in charge earlier.....that say their company have "special training" to train ppl and that's why their company is so damn successful. The worst part is the salary....they claim their salary scheme is best because it is on weekly basic. But with no benefits at all on medical/petrol/EPF or even basic pay. Just got commission that start from RM80 for each maxis home you manage to sell or signup by customer.

The company is actually helping both TM unifi and Maxis Home to sell their products. By having separate company so 1 helping TM and another helping Maxis. How the sales ppl promote Maxis Plan, easy just took out TM Unifi plan and criticise it to max so that Maxis plan look great at the end of it. I think it is the same opposite way for the Unifi sales ppl.

I actually quite pity on those current employees that working there because they believe it is a very good job with very good pay. But reality is you are not earning much because end of the day you do not have any benefits like EPF or insurance coverage. It is just like a full time part time job. And everyday you are begging ppl to sign up those maxis package with you.

Ohwell, there is just too many those broadband sales ppl nowdays. Example during PC fair, at the very end there is a swamp of ppl pulling me left and right for hard selling of their products. It really pissed me off to max.

The job offered may look attractive with claims that you can earn up to 10K per month. But i do doubt about it. The company is targeting and recruiting fresh graduate and using them to help them earn tons of money by their washing brains theory and trainings that the job weekly payment aka. commission is lucrative and basic pay is useless.
Ohya and you can become manager in age of 23 and within 3 months.

The job sound like a MLM aka direct sales company job right?....it look like one, it sound like one, but they say they are not...they claim to be outsource service based company.
