Weird Job Interview

I apply for some job on jobstreet and voila someone called me for interview for some marketing trainee job. Google around and some bad comment about the company. con case and so on...
Don't bother about the comment, i just go to the company for interview. The company look nice with many big corporate company logo as their customer. Look impressive at 1st.

The interview start with the person in charge(partner) asked 6 of us to watch some company intro video....that look very impressive. After that proceed with some briefing on the job scope...ohwell surprise come....the job is a sales job asking us to sell maxis home fibre optic broadband...well but the person in charge keep insisting that "it is not solely sales job" and in 3 months time you can become a manager....

After some briefing...he asked 2 ppl to bring me out to show me how the job is conducted live....we walked to the nearby brickfield and they start going shop by shop promoting the maxis home plan...they even asked me to stand beside to look at the way they conducted it.

To me there is nothing special on the way they conducted as claim by the person in charge earlier.....that say their company have "special training" to train ppl and that's why their company is so damn successful. The worst part is the salary....they claim their salary scheme is best because it is on weekly basic. But with no benefits at all on medical/petrol/EPF or even basic pay. Just got commission that start from RM80 for each maxis home you manage to sell or signup by customer.

The company is actually helping both TM unifi and Maxis Home to sell their products. By having separate company so 1 helping TM and another helping Maxis. How the sales ppl promote Maxis Plan, easy just took out TM Unifi plan and criticise it to max so that Maxis plan look great at the end of it. I think it is the same opposite way for the Unifi sales ppl.

I actually quite pity on those current employees that working there because they believe it is a very good job with very good pay. But reality is you are not earning much because end of the day you do not have any benefits like EPF or insurance coverage. It is just like a full time part time job. And everyday you are begging ppl to sign up those maxis package with you.

Ohwell, there is just too many those broadband sales ppl nowdays. Example during PC fair, at the very end there is a swamp of ppl pulling me left and right for hard selling of their products. It really pissed me off to max.

The job offered may look attractive with claims that you can earn up to 10K per month. But i do doubt about it. The company is targeting and recruiting fresh graduate and using them to help them earn tons of money by their washing brains theory and trainings that the job weekly payment aka. commission is lucrative and basic pay is useless.
Ohya and you can become manager in age of 23 and within 3 months.

The job sound like a MLM aka direct sales company job right?....it look like one, it sound like one, but they say they are not...they claim to be outsource service based company.

Lagi Power Lagi Best?

Many people will be asking? Not a Myvi again.....after so many editions and facelift of it....again P2 launch another 2 version....that is SE 1.5 and Extreme 1.5.
So what so different this Myvi compared to the older version and the newer version 1.3 Myvi. Frankly speaking, when the new "Lagi Best 1.3" Myvi launched, as a owner of the old myvi, i do not feel any significant different compared to my myvi. It still look roughly the same just the interior is upgraded.

So when P2 finally come out with the 1.5 version after a long delay....I rushed to the showroom and have a test drive. My parents really have no interest on it because they say "its a myvi still a myvi." I just give a summary of the test drive for extreme 1.5 myvi.

Pros
1) Interior is very nice especially the 2 din touchscreen GPS/DVD Multimedia Player.
2) Speedometer design is very nice and leather steering is a very nice addition.
3) Improvement on the overall ride comfort and the car feel more stable and solid.
4) Improvement on the aircon where the aircon compressor will not kick in so frequently as in old myvi.
5) The side mirror finally can electric fold with a touch of button.( My SA remember few years back that i complaint to her that "why side mirror cannot electric fold?")
6) Overall quality of the car is very good as compared with P1.

Cons
1) Do not feel that the 1.5L engine is that powerful...
2) EPS steering feel is very light and too over assist...
3) Price of extreme version is too Extreme....

Conclusion
I would recommend the SE 1.5 Version because it is a smarter choice and more reasonable pricing.
With the current competitive market compared with the few choices available when the 1st myvi is introduced. I personally feel that consumer have more choice to choose from, P1 Saga Flx is a value for money car if you don't care about the campro engine.

As a 1st generation myvi owner, I personally feel that the new myvi 1.5 is a improve version of the car and it will be great buy if you need a city car to travel around.

Started working for 1 month...

Finally started on field for my sales job.

Today is my 1st day fixing appointment and driving around KL to meet client.

This job require me to drive around from morning till finish work.

Friends around me know that i am a person who rarely drive to far away area and guess what.

My job require me to drive until kajang, setapak,wangsa maju and ulu klang area.

I am seriously not familiar with KL area like jalan ampang ,sultan ismail those.

I just realise KL is quite big....lolz and many many office building...menara this and that...

It's a challenge for me...but i am determine to overcome.

A quite challenging job but i am determine to work on it.

I will go all out with a positive mind...

I can do it!!

After 2 Weeks

Been working for 2 weeks now...Quite fast!!
Been busy attending training...training...and training.
For my newbie training, there is few person from other branches joined us for the training.
1 each from Melaka, Kedah and Sarawak...all the way using flight...
Lots of stuff to learn..from product knowledge to technical stuff and networking.
There is just too many functions on MFP machine....it will took weeks to finish understand and learn those function.
And the very pening networking stuff....IP Address, FTP and SMB those.
I really hope I have learn some basic at APIIT before. But sadly nope.
ohya....we meet with a Mac PC last weeks...and have no idea how to configure Mac network....it still fail to connect after telephone guidance from our technical support team. Mac do looks nice but then it is too "hightech" for us to handle.

Few days after I joined Konica Minolta. We celebrated our 30 years Anniversary. Quite a milestone for our company. There is a very nice billboard at the federal highway on the way to MidValley and another at KL near pudu.

There is still lots of stuff that I need to learn before I go on field.

Working Life Started

Finally started my working life.
Never expected it to be so fast.
The coming months will be new experience for me.
Lots of stuff to learn....
Never expected will get a job on the MFP copier industry.
KM have a system that is similar to my FYP WebPrint system.
Will Undergo training for this whole month.
Lots of feature on KM MFP...you name it we have it...
It will take me sometime to learn most of it.

Jobless Graduate-No More

After few rounds of part time job with Panasonic that bring me to Subang Parade, The Summit USJ and then round back to Mid Valley Megamall.
Start the job with AV product (Audio Visual) department such as Plasma, LCD and LED TV then for no reason I landed myself promoting HA (Home Appliances) during my final job at Mid Valley Megamall.
Home Appliances product include washing machine, fridge, vacuum cleaner etc.....lolz
With 0 experience in those products..I open my eye as width as possible and survey around the other competitors products.Learn a lot from the 3 days at midvalley....the most difficult product for me is microwave oven with it crazy functions...lolz

Never expected...I finally got my 1st Permanent Job at Konica Minolta MFP Department.

Quite happy to be given this opportunity...because I look too young...im not even celebrated my 22 birthday.. and I got a job!!....yeah

I know that this job is not easy...it is quite tough...with so many many competitors in the same industry... but I hope I can learn a lot from this job.

I have experiences in indoor sales job but not outdoor sales job...lolz

I hope the 1 month training can give me more knowledge on the MFP machines.

Need to learn a lot stuff on networking also...

Days Without Laptop

My laptop fail suddenly without any warning before my Final Year Project Presentation (FYP).
ohwell what an sudden crazy moment for me.
Everything turned up quite well for my FYP presentation.
The days without my laptop is quite bored.
I cannot listen to music and watch video as i wish=="
Send my laptop to acer service centre for repair on monday.
Surprisingly, they called me to collect my laptop tomorrow.
Consider very fast as compared with my sis laptop that took nearly 2.5++ weeks to be repaired...hahaha
Hope my laptop will be ok after this!!
There will be extra hassle of reformatting it to window 7 after collecting it from service centre because acer will put back window vista as OEM package of the laptop during purchase.

With nearly 500K unit of total volume sold in 5 years +.

Perodua Myvi can be consider as a legendary car.

A phenomena in malaysia car industry.

I own one of it, my friend own one of it, my lecturer own one of it.

It is not the Best car or God car but it is a car with a good overall package.

After 5 years+, finally a replacement will be out in 2 weeks time.

To my surprise, Perodua still maintain the same name “Myvi”

With a new tag line “Lagi Best”

New feature of the new Myvi will be EPS (Electric Power Steering) and Dual Airbag on the whole range. ohya better handling and fuel consumption as compared with the old myvi.

There is also new interior will camry style meter,dashboard mounted auto gear stick and GPS 2 din player.

My old myvi suffered from bad engine pickup performance during hot weather…that i need to switch off the aircon to overtake cars..lolz.

I hope P2 can solve the problem by using EPS and reduce the burden on the engine. First thing i will check on the new myvi is the engine air intake placing…

Kind of disappointed that the 1.3L myvi will launch 1st and the 1.5L will be delay until the end of the year.

How “Lagi Best” the new myvi…i will wait for the launch.

Will the new Myvi will be as successful as the brother it replace?

We will wait and see.

Hope Perodua will not disappoint.

The last month have class at APIIT.

The last assignment.

Been very lucky to get some part time job during the end of May.

Never expected any part time job but the offer is consider quite good

Still waiting for my FYP presentation after it is cancelled because APIIT 1st class computer system.

Admin that did not aware that my supervisor on leave?

Need i personally sms my supervisor only i know?

Keep pointing finger and blaming other ppl…

The Ms. Chow no need show her LCLY face and so lanci when i ask about my FYP timetable stuff… Keep saying “i am not aware, is your supervisor fault!!”

APIIT/UCTI very sorry to say that

I will not recommend anyone to study here.

Your award is useless with the sucks customer service.

So difficult to schedule the timetable for FYP presentation.

I can just ask my supervisor and advisor out and personally have the presentation with them.

Need recording?…i just use my own handycam then…better APIIT very damn old tape recording system!! Where got ppl use tape recording now days??

Panasonic Road Show

Been busy working at Panasonic Road Show.

Consider the longest ever…7 days.

A photo with Panasonic Evolta Battery Mascot. The mascot is also APIIT student. Consider my junior.hahaha…but he is very professional btw. He like a different person after wearing the suit. Act Cute and so on…bring us some laughter and children love him!!

Been working for panasonic AV line for a while now.

The most common question customer like to ask is

1)“LCD,LED or Plasma TV?” Which is the best?

The answer is LCD and LED is the same basically… the difference is Light Source…LED TV will produce sharper and brighter image with lower power consumption.

As for Plasma…It is pana core product with Pioneer technology.

I will prefer Plasma compared to LCD or LED.

Long hour of viewing TV have train me to spot the different between them.haha

The quality of the TV source is very important. LCD and LED will show pixel image if the source is just a bit less high quality. Plasma TV will show more natural and smooth image

2) HD Ready or Full HD?

Resolution different. i used to think that it is same for HD Ready and Full HD TV…i think it is just a gimmick to put a higher price on Full HD TV.

Btw.. after long hour of viewing TV…i manage to spot the different… very huge different between them. I would strongly recommend Full HD over HD ready.

Plasma TV pricing have drop a lot this year…being very cheap now.

This MV is quite nice by Korean Group SNSD…This is the demo video and look great on Pana TV.

This video can be used to test the performance of the TV video and sound quality…haha.

Lady Gaga latest song Judas…that we manage to stunt our customer by using it as demo video for the roadshow. She is very weird and her song is nice.

Nothing can beat her clothing design!!

This is the claim from Petronas for the rebranded new fuel.

Been a loyal Petronas user from the Primax 97 to Primax 95 and now Primax 95 Xtra.

Going to finish my second tank,I would say just slightly increase in power…Better fuel economy…for me is just the same…maybe i am a sucks driver.

Overall nothing much Xtra as claim by Petronas

My supervisor hate my header so much…not beautiful enough… something wrong?…lolz i have change so many times…Upper case lower case..i just use office standard header!!

(Solution: Hire some advertising company to help me design my FYP header and page design so that it will have impressive Visual Presentation….then send to printer to print it like magazines quality paper?)

New Myvi interior..personally i dislike the steering design..current version better!!

Some rumours Specification Details

There will be 2 version 1.3L and 1.5L

1.3L will divided into EZ,SX,EZI,SXI, and the all NEW ELEGANCE!!

There will be projector headlights, 2 tone colour dashboard, 3D style meter. Elegance Spec will have additional 2 Din Touch Screen Audio System that have GPS, Bluetooth,USB and DVD player.

1.5L will be divided into SE (Special Edition) auto and manual and EE(Extreme Edition) auto and manual.

The additional stuff will include all black interior, Racing Bucket Seat and the very sporty exterior design.

Will this be Myvi Extreme Edition?? look quite nice

Will the new Myvi consider as a good upgrade for current myvi owners?Will Perodua have some surprise for the current owner?

I think it is a big task for P2 to have a better product to take over or as successor to the current Myvi that is crazily successful until today!

I have waited 5 years and hope P2 will not disappoint me.

Hope the the feature will be 1st and the best for a A segment car.

The projector headlight will beat Proton cars…

Proton took 5 years to implement LED lighting for their brake lights ,side mirror signal lights and also Optitron meter after P2 launch the Myvi in 2004 that have the same feature.

Wonder how the 3D style meter cluster will look like?

The Battle of Hybrid

Hybrid- a word that not familiar to Malaysian suddenly become so hot topic now.

Again the battle of T and H aka. Toyota and Honda.

Start with Honda Insight

Honda Insight come with 2 stage 1.3L i-Vtec+IMA

Drive and handling is quite good for its class..

Very modern interior, nice 3D style meter

Main attraction is the price at 98K…affordable hybrid car.

Now come the Toyota Prius…the car that Hollywood Artist love it so much that 1 of it got 5 unit of Prius…lolz

Being a larger car than insight do have its advantage and with a 1.8L Atkitson-cycle engine…

The Prius just feel like it is a better hybrid car overall..but with a 140K pricetag.

I feel that Prius is really advance in terms of technology as compare to Insight.

For conclusion, i still feel that there is no logic reason to buy a hybrid because

1) How much petrol will you save..the money you save will be for repair bill in future?…because the battery will cost like 10K to change or repair(battery life will be like 5-10 years)

2) Eco friendly??…it used a lot of energy to manufacture the battery and take a lot of process to recycle it…i do not see the logic

3)How reliable the car is?…not sure, how long the battery will last?.. maybe 5 years to 10 years…we say only cannot guarantee.

With the disadvantages and reliable issue…it is better and more logical to buy a small cc car that save fuel and low maintenance.

I have a hybrid car…but i worry in future this will problem that will problem…

Mars Needs Moms 3D (Premier Screening)

Have the chance to actually watch this movie premier screening at Cathay Cineplex at e@ Curve just now. Been lucky because my sister won the ticket and cannot attend.

Bring my friend KP along so that he can enjoy the movie together and while he can teach me some new road to that area. Also my 1st time to park at Menara Surian that is beside e @Curve

The movie is quite nice…cartoon movie nothing much to expect…storyline is quite good..3D effect is good but not as good as i expected it would be..maybe the 3D not that real for me after my experience of watching Panasonic Plasma 3D tv.

Overall the movie is great if you want to have some laughter and relax yourself after a long day…

The movie will available at major cinema starting tomorrow (10 March)

Time fly…the 4 days part time job have been completed.

The very short 4 days have given me the opportunity to learn the latest technology involve in the AV(Audio Visual) Industry.

Managed to use the most expansive 3D TV…that cost more than 10K.

Kind of addicted to the superb graphic of Blueray Full HD 1080P graphic quality…it is real good!!

Everyday answer the same question from people.

“LCD? LED? Plasma? which to buy?

There is no correct or wrong answer really..depends on what you need.

It may be short 4 days but it actually let me gain lots of experience from it…truly happy about it.

Ok..yeay i know that cny going to end soon.

This post come quite late because i am lazy and tired to update.

My CNY as usual will go back to Penang to celebrate…

Ohya it have been quite some time i didn’t back to Penang…more than 6 months i guess.

I know that KL have been raining non stop during the CNY week while i escape to Penang that have fair and very hot weather…

But there is a problem at Penang during CNY…no fireworks…Too expansive while Penangite will save those money to eat..i wonder?

Being poison by 1 of my relative about DSLR. have a long chat with him on DSLR…get lots of information from him…He really know a lot…from his 4 years experiences and as official photographer of Penang bridge marathon…and lots of learning experiences from Penang Top 10 photographer!!He welcome me to join him and learn. But then i have budget problem^^..hahaha maybe in future i will

Exam finally finish…

The coming semester is my last…

4 years finally finishing soon.

happy that i will not going back to BBJ.

but going to say good bye to apiit soon.

yeah…i still have not achieved it…lolz

but managed to improve my fuel efficiency

This year also is my 1st time to drive at Penang after like 15 years shift out from there…

Drive a Kelisa to chase around a BMW and a Merc around Penang.

Penang road is fun to go kart…after turn left sure the next junction you must turn right…

Managed to finish kelisa half tank petrol…yey…my sis say i drive very aggressively!!

2010 also mark the year where i become driver more than people drive me around with the endless trip to makan place!!

I hope 2011 will be a more exciting year for me!!

This few days, i read few of my friends blogs that mostly on the struggle on their life like they are failed in their exam, their FYP rejected…and so on…

Challenge in life…we must face it .

My advice is…

This is the most talked about event that happening right now..the KL International Motor Show..held from now till 12 Dec at PWTC KL.

Have the chance to visit it with my dad. This is consider the 3rd show i went to..the last 2 is at 2003 and 2006.

2010 is consider the delayed show..because the show original date should be on the end of 2009.

The first exhibition hall include our local car maker… Proton and Perodua.

Well..this is the 3rd motor show for me…This year motor show is not the most impressive…a lot of brands did not join such as BMW and Merc…i used to see their booth during the 2003 and 2006 motor show. But well, for our local brand such as Proton they have a very impressive showcase this year…include Perodua as well. Personally i do like Honda showcase just like it impress me during 2006 showcase.

Overall, KLIMS’10 is a smaller show compared to the 2003 or 2006 show…there is lack of car showcase there and the lack of stall as compared with the previous show.

This few months is quite busy month for me

Focus mostly on education…

voila…my 3rd year 1st semester finish with my exam coming.

Getting nearer to graduate…

Long lost friends coming back…

Especially my foundation friend Mr. Jun Hoe.

He appear back suddenly because we share the same supervisor for FYP.

What a coincidence…because my supervisor mention his ultra good FYP title “Blue Ocean Strategy On Cameron Hotel”…then only i realise he is the another student my supervisor have currently!

Another coincidence is that my Advisor is Jun Hoe lecturer for 3 years!!

Kind of great that we can discuss about the attitude of our supervisor…the expectation and so on…exchange info so called.

Peter Pan The Musical

haha…Peter Pan suddenly show up in my life.

I have chance to watch the Musical Show on the 1st public show.. the day after the Gala night.

I have been lucky…because my sister won the competition by just writing about it on her own blog.

The location is at Amphitheatre@ Sunway Lagoon that is a pain to reach..it is deep inside Sunway Lagoon…that need us to walk a while then seat on Train..then walk again…it is wet because rain before the show start.

The Peter Pan cast member…i’m too old to go up stage to take photo with them..lolz..shy lolz

It is a very nice show…1 hour show…but surprising the 1st day show do not attract much crowd…with the venue very empty till the show start…we are given free upgrade to seat the more front row seat because the empty seats.

I do think Malaysian do not prefer live musical theater…like this Peter Pan Musical…West End Production!!…for me personally it is not my 1st time to live theater show…i have opportunity to watch Disney on Ice when i small last time…

Musical theater is nice in some sense that the performance is live and the singing is not pre-recorded with the storyline and stage props changing…

The only thing that Malaysian love is Concert…Some taiwan artist come they will shout like mad…haha jaychou coming for concert edy…confirm ticket sold out…not that i hate jaychou…his overseas concert is way better (some friend show me his concert DVD)..

Few bad experience with concert last time…kelly clarkson for example…lucky is free ticket…if not…really not worth it!!

I have some 50% off voucher for the Peter Pan Musical Show…if interested can take from me…

Yesterday have a chance to watch the premier screening of Social Network movie at GSC MidValley.

Lucky because one of my sister friends won the ticket but have some problem to watch it and offered it to us..yey

This movie is about FACEBOOK… true story of Facebook's founder-Mark Zuckerberg. How he started Facebook on Harvard University when he still studying there…the friends that helped him and then sue him.The whole movie is based on the real story.

Nice movie i would say.

Facebook have come a long way and it is very successful company today.

The movie will release on 2 December 2010…

Start off with the APIIT BIZ WEEK Stall Business.

It is quite fun and crazy week…Doing everything and anything with my frenz…Just like bringing my whole house to APIIT.

There is so much stuff to take care..and not to mention the very lots and heavy stock…my car become store room for few days!!

Every Morning need to take the stock from APIIT car park to the foyer..and the stupid taxi that made me irritated..i 1st time press my horn many many times at APIIT entrance..geng lah..i really hate those taxi!!…hello i need to park in front the entrance and i have wait 10 minutes you still blocking my way!!

Melaka Trip '10 Part 2

Have dinner at Portuguese Settlement…

The Famous Joes Only One Mango juice at Portuguese Settlement, taste sour and sweet. The left side with a big uncle head is the original Mango Juice located at stall 10. The right side is prepared by an aunty at stall 1,(can say copycat) the Mango Juice tasteless at all.

Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum. It costs RM8 for adult and RM4 for children. We are not allow to take photos in the Museum so I got the outside look only.

Monorail station at Melaka?? i think it will open in future…

We went for the Malacca River Cruise. It cots RM10 for adult. It took about 40-50 minutes for the whole ride. I still think it is worth of money to go on this ride. There are many houses to see along the river cruise.

The Menara Taming Sari ride. We pay RM10 for showing MyCard. Without MyCard will be RM20 and RM10 for children. 7 minutes for the ride. We got to see whole Malacca from the top, it is better to go on day rather than night for a clearer view.

It is a must go place if you at Melaka (night only recommended)

On the way back to KL, we stop at seremban to buy siew pau.

I took the opportunity of the raya break and come to melaka for a makan2 trip together with my sis friends. Total of 7 people in the group.

The main objective is to eat, eat and eat.hahaha

Below is the food we ate/the shop we visited

1) Nadeja Patisserie

You must be asking? go till Melaka and eat cake??

This branch is located at rooftop of dataran pahlawan..and when we reach the shop..ALL CAKE SOLD OUT..luckily someone bring us to the HQ just few street down the road(the picture ontop…lucky still have)

Yes..this is the famous Nadeja that have a very special cake.

The Mille Crepe cake…Also known as the French layer cake…

Taste wise…the cake is made of many many layer..like cheese cake with crepe…nice!! currently only this shop have the best Mille Crepe.

2) Satay Celup

Come to Melaka must eat satay celup aka. steamboat with satay sauce.

The famous shop is too packed with customer..so we go to this not famous shop…taste ok ok loh..

3) Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Balls @ Jonker Street

This shop required you to wake up as early as 8am and start waiting for the shop to open…reason being you will have to queue in front of the shop if you late..there is too many people who wanted to try this chicken rice.

The 1st day we fail to eat it because the queue is too long…have to wait few hours to look for a seat.

The 2nd time..we reach there at 9am and queue then the shop open. i like the chicken because it taste good. very different!!

4) Dim Sum @ Yong Moh Jalan Tukang Emas

This old shop serve one of the best Bao at Melaka

The best Pork Bao..it sold out before we can order again.

The Char Sew Bao..small lah..but taste good!!

5) 486 Baba Low Nyonya Laksa

This little gerai is famous for the Melaka Nyonya Laksa

Our 1st trip there end up with disappointment because they mix up our order with another table and sold out….Lolz

We have to come back the next day..earlier to try again.

Nyonya Laksa..taste special

Popiah…different is that the skin is home made type…thicker than usual..the chilli is also home made.

Mee Siam…nice also

The shop people ask us to try this kuih…dunno what kuih is this…but it taste nice…

My car problem keep popping up 1 after another.

It is quite new after all…i am not heavy user.

1st is the radio problem…after fixing it…

Guess what…that afternoon my alarm remote is not functioning.

I try to use the spare remote still the same..when pressed nothing happen.

Thanks Perodua for screwing up my alarm system after installing back my radio!!

I guess they have screw up the wiring of my car…

Now have to manually use key to lock and unlock my car…sucks lah!!

Waiting for the next appointment to fix this problem.

Going to screw Perodua services Kau Kau if they fail to rectify it and hopefully they will not spoilt another stuff after repairing this.

Window photo viewer problem

Window 7 should be technically more stable than window vista.

With less hang and crash and so on.

But what happen now is my laptop keep crash when i use window photo viewer.

After some research on the net. I found out the problem is actually cause by KIS 2011 aka. Kaspersky Internet Security 2011

Started using it from end of July…everything is good except now..

The crash is so bad that i cannot restart my PC or shutdown and the only solution is to hard reset or press the power button.

KIS 2011 have some problem with the “COM Surrogate” of windows that make it crash.

Solution is on the way but the patch is not ready yet.

The only solution is to “pause protection” when using the photo viewer or exclude “COM Surrogate” from KIS application protection setting.

Today is my 1st time using public transport aka Ampang Line LRT to Lowyat. I never use star LRT until today..ohwell..how many years open edy??…10 years i guess.

The reason to lowyat is the 4 hour break..nothing to do!! Then para wanted to help his friends solve the weird laptop problem. That day he open up to check the ram in one of the shop..and weirdly the laptop cannot be switch back after brought home.

Arrived hang tuah station and it started to rain..with one umbrella…para have to walk in the rain…he say it is nice…

Reach lowyat that look like a very long journey because of the rain..The laptop problem solved..you guess how that girl solve it??

“Take the ram out and clean it with a small brush…put it back and voila the laptop can be on again!!!!”

To the surprise of me and para, what..brush a bit put back can on back??…lolz…para have try lots of way to turn it back last few days!!

My last class ended half hour early with the lecturer running back like tsunami is hitting our classroom…guess what on my way back to car the rain start again…rushing me like hell to save my 2 others friends para and cy…para walk in the rain again 2nd time!!!

Ohya..my car audio HU problem again..there is radio signal problem and every channel now sound like disco mix plate aka mix version as cy say…going to send it back to perodua to check..shitty radio like china made toys…

If cannot be solved…then i would change a new HU then..with usb support…just hope is the antenna problem or wiring problem…at least can save me some money…

Video Editing took me a stressful 2 days.

Last minutes changes in video editing software make me rush like shit.

Found 1 software that is quite good!

Window Live Movie Maker…quite a powerful software for editing…and quite easy to use.

I am quite happy with the end result..some improvement for me..

Just my mom friends DVD player gone me mad…my dvd video keep jamming halfway like pirated dvd…omg!! i really sad with that!!…what the use of 50 inch samsung LCD TV with a lousy player…

Someone offer me a part time freelance photo shooting job on her project. Well i think i should purchase a DSLR camera for fun shooting.With some mom friends who so good with DSLR photography…some tips from them will be good for me.

It will be busy week for me, i have to edit like 6GB of video file for my mom dinner. Getting mad soon with earphone on and eye stick to the computer screen for editing.

Went to PC fair today with CT. ohwell gosh i never seated his car and it is quite a scary experience. Scary in the sense that he dunno where he wanted to go…no sense of direction at all…ohya no concentration that lead to steering going left and right…phew..i shuld have drive next time.

Bought a very cheap DVD+R at pcfair…going to use it very soon. hope it will not burn 5 pieces spoilt 2 pieces those type. RM39 for 50 pieces..quite cheap i would say..still have more cheaper version RM29 for 50 pieces that i dare not buy…quantity is not that important for me after all.

Bought a new laptop bag after all because i broke my current bag because of the heavy book and notes that i always carrying around. Bought a bigger bag to store all my rubbish inside it..lolz

The Final Year

People keep asking me this question…

“how many damn year you need to finish your study?”

From the initial 3 years to 2 years to now 1 years..exact 8 months.

Reality struck me hard…it is my 3rd level aka the final year!!

FYP aka final year project that required something like 7 months to finish.

There is also timetable pre-prepared for me…on this date you need to do this and that..blah blah blah

Need to submit the title real soon. But have no idea what title to do.

Been to library and read all those senior FYP…it is damn thick and full of information..lack of specific things…just dump all those info into it. Make me sick of reading it.

The title also sound very canggih and difficult to understand…

I just wish all the best…I hope i can finish my FYP and graduate.

What place is this really?

A place that you can feel it is real malaysia.

Where mohd. and binti is the largest group here.

VC fair at shah alam really open up my eye.

I face problem on communication.

My BM aka Bahasa Melayu(malaysia or whatever..keep changing the name until i dunno what is called now) have rusted.

Majority of ppl here do not understand english..wtf as simple as Europe cutting.big size cutting…

I guess i must say Europah Size only they can understand!!

Is a flop and waste of time for vc here…the pricing is too high for those people…they expect pasar malam price..seriously.

Problem on food to eat really. it is like a deserted town with nothing except some hypermarket in the middle of nowhere.ohya a big stadium in nowhere…great!!

lucky me, still have a frenz that fetch me for lunch at nearby..but the road planning here at this place is terrible.

It’s a busy month for me…

today is my only off day for me to rest.

Yesterday is my last day working.

But i continue working with a shah alam fair.

It have been quite long i didn’t update my blog.

Some update on my life^^

I have been quite busy for the past months…assignment-exam-working-cousin wedding-working back.

Working-working-working…non stop that i cannot even visit my friend to say hi to them or watch a movie or singK.

I just stop working…it have been a short and nice experience for me at rudy. Just got 5 days rest in between because new job opportunity at VC my old company…

I managed to visit KP and seated his new car…nice car there^^

Tomorrow will go visit para and have a nice vegetarian lunch with him..he have been quite busy lately with his many gf appointment, tuition-ing, pasarmalam-ing.

My friend kim have been bugging me to go starhill gallery for some makan-ing that having ultra discount now until this month end…sadly i don’t have the time.

Working really make me busy with not many time left. The only free time is actually my sleeping and resting time.

After 25 Julai i will be free…hahaha

Too many workers in a company will lead to many problems.

In my working place, you have counter permanent, part time like me, supervisors, rotation, Exec, and lastly Manager.

Yesterday one of our customer ask me this question

“so many workers to assist me in choosing clothes?”

Imagine she asking 3 of us to choose clothes for her husband and her dad?

Luckily my working partner is around the same age group and we have the same fashion sense and taste.

Today i saw my permanent shed tears in front of me. it really stunned me because a girl shed tears…

Reason being office politics. Supervisor scold the rotation then the rotation scold back the permanent.

Going round and round like merry go round…Everyone want power…bickering and stabbing each others.

During my 1st week at work..my rotation make a big fuss out of me..stabbing my back to the max…she want to show her power.

It is just because the exec asked me 1 question…

“How is the promotion pants sales?”

My answer is “ok lah, 20 pants sold roughly”

My rotate then very angry and scold me

“ you should not say ok lah..you shuld say not ok because this stock is not good..we dowan it next time!!!!!!!!”

My permanent told me the next day… “no problem lah…you can say like that”

My supervisor ask me to keep quiet next time because the pants quality is not so good.

What is the correct answer to the question?

Just shut my mouth and avoid all of them…whatever i say sure will get shoot from the 3 parties.

They are fighting among themselves. Ghost hit Ghost(cantonese)

My permanent complaint the supervisor to the manager in front of me.

My rotation complaint about my permanent to the supervisor.

I lost my job at VC because some unexpected last minute fair cancelation.

Today i just got the sad news.

I will lost my current job at valentino rudy after this month.

They just got their second permanent.

Get a job offer by VC for Robinson fair but i think i will reject it because i just don’t like it.

I think i will rest at home for the month of july.

Do hope got some new part time job offer soon.

Jobless…

Less income and will be poor soon.

Life is not as smooth as i thought.

Sem Break Holiday now…

Everyone and everybody is enjoying their holiday, travel here and there.Seating at home and so on.

I am the person who go find part time job..working like i am very hardworking.

Working with a bunch of person that so good in chinese and epic fail english…”asking me how to spell short”…

My chinese is quite weak…having difficulty when my permanent giving me direction in chinese…i cannot differentiate right and left..

Working will be quite tired…but quite fun sometime…

We managed to hit the stupid sales target for last month.

Case 1

For the 3 years i work at Midvalley, i never meet anybody from my college or any of my friends.

Yesterday being alone walking toward the food court. The least expected things happen…i meet the person that i never think will meet…that is Angel…I thought she have gone back to PD lah.

Saw her eating alone..just say hi to her…so ngam today is her 1st day working at The Gardens Boutique. Have a long chat with her…

Case 2

I suspect someone put tracking device into my bag/body. How they know today i will have my lunch at 2pm. how they know i will go to my locker and take my HP out for lunch.

I received 1 sms from my lecturer, 2 phone calls from friends during my lunch time. No missed call either from them before that.

Case 3

My working friend ahleng bought some lottery number that is 8131 because 1 day before she saw my myvi plate number 8133. She just say that hope can get some money this time.

Few hours later, number 8131 got 2nd prize and she got 1K.

I also have free KFC for lunch today…yey the new black pepper crunch quite nice.

Why 8131?because on the way back after meeting me she saw another car with plate number 8131.

Coincidence??…i will say pure luck lah.

Case 4

I have search for long time to get a long sleeve pure black shirt. I just managed to get 1 short sleeve that is very cheap at Jusco. long sleeve is too expansive for me.

Today i went to jusco again with working friend ahleng. Guess what the same area that i went before 2 days ago..she just go dig around the shelf and she manage to find 2 types of long sleeve pure black shirt for RM49 and RM39 each.

Few days back i saw 1 at same area for RM69. that i feel not worth.

Finally bought the RM39 shirt. Real cheap lah.

Coincidence? It is common sense because ahleng used to work at Jusco for few years and digging around clothes is her expertise.

You want real deal and cheap good stuff, just ask her opinion. she will give you some idea where and when to find it.

She told me the pants i bought for RM40++ is being sold for RM19.90 1 week early. I like What!!!!!!!!!

Coincidence? nah just try searching around before buying some stuff. you could save lots of $$$. Judge item whether it is worth or not before buying.

My first day work in VC have become like my last day.

I have become their redundant part time because our fair this month end is cancelled.

To avoid time clashing with another part time that have work for 6 months…

Time clashing mean work for 5 hour per day. I have change to another company and start new job at 27 May. only 5 days at Valentino Creations.

Guess what, the company is my closest competitor that is Valentino Rudy…VR…

With a higher pay and consistent working hour…it is a opportunity for me to move over.

I just finish exam today..and guess what i will start job on Saturday.

Yey..i just passed up my PPM Assignment after nearly 3.5 months of doing it.

The most complicated and hardest assignment i ever done.

Weekly checking of assignment with lecturer have become a routine job.

With non stop changes and delete that and this…

The scope of this assignment is hmm…very big very very big…

Can say is the foundation of the FYP project

For this assignment..

I have to send email to inform this and that.

My hp rang non stop this week.

Endless ppl have asked me endless question.

I have drive all the way to serdang to print and bide it…

and also send the CSFF form to para…

Rush back to college to find the lecturer to sign my project proposal before submission.

Running from Partimas parking to apiit main building then again to Ent3 because the lecturer shift the class.

Just for a signature.

Then rush back the apiit main building to submit.

morning=from parking to class then parking again to serdang.

=3 time

afternoon=parking to apiit then to ent3 then again apiit then parking

=4 time

Total is 7 times of walking up and down.

I feel quite satisfy and happy after finishing this assignment.

Can't stretch your budget for that spanking new Civic or Mazda3? Well, the City and the newly introduced Mazda2 Sedan could well be competent but yet more affordable alternatives.

Zooming in

The budget small saloon market has been dominated by a single model in recent years - the Toyota Vios. The Vios is a hugely competent small family car but when it comes to features and specifications, its old adversary, the Honda City easily trumps the perennial Toyota.

The City was first introduced in 1996 and just like the Vios, was specifically developed for Asian markets. The current City is the fourth generation model and just like its predecessor, the City's underpinnings are based on the popular Jazz compact hatchback.

The Vios too is also based on a hatchback model - the Yaris in this case. And then there's the new Mazda2 Sedan. As its name suggests, the Mazda2 Sedan is based on Mazda's small hatchback model. Like the Vios and the City the Mazda2 Sedan is also built in Thailand for the emerging markets in Asia.

Ideally, we would have wanted to pit the Vios against both the City and Mazda but the Toyota model was recently put through a facelift and will only be available at local showrooms in the coming weeks, hence it'll be only a two-way battle here between the well established City and the new kid on the block Mazda.

I have to say that I'm a big fan of the Mazda2 hatchback's styling - it looks sporty, well proportioned and rather purposeful for a Japanese supermini. Its athletic nature does make the relatively tall Honda Jazz look relatively ponderous and a tad slab sided.

The Sedan is similar to the hatchback up to the front doors and both models share the same wheelbase but the Sedan is a significant 349mm longer thanks to the longer rear overhang. Sedans derived from hatchback models typically have a boot extension grafted on to its rear and the Mazda2 is no different. The proportions look fine when viewed from the front three quarter or the side but when seen straight from the rear or the rear three quarter, the Mazda's backside look dumpy and overtly high, at this point, it starts to remind me of the Toyota Echo saloon. The prominent rising feature line along the flanks culminates on top of the low slung tail lamps on the hatch, but on the saloon, the line continues on to end on the relatively tall boot line, hence the heavy rear. On the upside, Mazda's designers have done well to incorporate a C-pillar treatment that mimics the 3 saloon's.

I have never thought that the previous generation City was ever a good looker. To me, it was just Jazz with a slightly restyled nose and an afterthought boot grafted on at the rear - there was no styling finesse at all and the proportions just looked weird.

I wouldn't say the same about this current City though. It isn't easy to get the proportions right for any compact saloon as the booted Mazda2 shows, but Honda's designers have nailed it with their compact saloon.

The City certainly looks dynamic and handsome; especially up front where the FCX Clarity's inspired nose treatment gives it a sporty stance. In addition, the way the C-pillar meets the boot line gives the City an elegant profile and feel, something Mazda's designers failed to achieve with the 2 Sedan. Side by side, the City just looks better proportioned and better sorted than the 2 Sedan.

City slicker

Sitting under the City's hood is a 1497cc four-cylinder engine that is largely similar to the one in the top spec Jazz. With the help of Honda's famed i-VTEC technology, the engine makes a really healthy 120bhp with maximum torque rated at 145Nm. In comparison, the Mazda's MZR 1498cc unit musters 103bhp and 135Nm, numbers that are lower than the City's. The 2's engine is a tweaked version of the previous 2 and is also used by the hatchback.

The Honda i-VTEC four-cylinder engine is a real gutsy unit, delivering the compact saloon reasonable go. It feels flexible enough at low engine speeds despite producing its peak torque at a relatively high 4800rpm. The City will take 10.8 seconds to reach 100km/h from rest, with top speed quoted at 185km/h. The motor is quiet enough when pottering along but give it some stick and it'll start to protest with a loud din - definitely not as smooth and sweet revving as Honda's iconic VTEC units.

In the real world, the Mazda's engine also has a nice spread of torque at low to mid engine speeds, making it flexible at moderate town speeds. Refinement is also a key feature at low cruising speeds. Stretch its legs though and the four-pot will get increasingly flustered with a slightly coarse engine note. Outright performance isn't as good as the City - 0-100km/h takes 12.7 seconds, almost two seconds slower than the City's pace while top speed is rated at 170km/h, which is also down on the City's.

The Mazda's cause isn't helped by the fact that its automatic gearbox has one less forward gear than the City's. The four-speed auto shifts quickly enough and is efficient in its operation but the lack of a fifth gear means its ratios are not as closely stacked as the City's to exploit performance. Moreover, the Mazda gearbox doesn't offer any paddle shifters like the City does. Kudos to Honda for equipping its entry level model with a five-speed automatic gearbox - it is still a relative rarity in this class.

The Mazda2 hatchback's piece de resistance has to be the way it handles corners and the slightly more portly Sedan is no different. The steering is pin sharp, quick and a talkative tool, giving the driver real confidence to hustle the car. Body control is excellent as well. Mazda has once again successfully instilled some ‘zoom zoom' into its product.

Just like the Mazda, the City is suspended by relatively simple strut and torsion beam suspension that deliver a comfortable and pliant ride at all speeds.
The City's handling is competent as well but it isn't as sharp or as fun to hustle around in like the Mazda. There is a fair degree of body roll for sure but everything feels stable and well controlled. The steering is nicely weighted but could do with a little more feel and the Mazda's pin sharp accuracy and quick responses.

Although the City is based on the Jazz, the interior is mostly unique to it. The only visible shared parts with the Jazz are some of the switches and knobs. Up front, the drover's seat offers height adjustment but the seat is set just too high. Even with the seat adjusted to its lowest setting, a driver of average height will find the driving position far too high - you feel like you're sitting on the car rather than in it.

Thankfully, you don't get the same problem with the driving position in the Mazda. The front seats are a tad flat and lack support but it is positioned well enough even for the tallest of drivers.

At the rear of the City, the flat floor design means three passengers can be accommodated rather comfortably. The seat backs can even be adjusted for recline on the LX version here. The Mazda is slightly less accommodating in the rear due to its shorter wheelbase but it is hardly a cramped and claustrophobic environment.

A really thoughtful feature in the City has to be the neat umbrella storage area under the rear seat. With a volume of 506 litres, the City's boot should be able to swallow almost anything in the Ikea catalogue. Moreover, the rear seat backs can split/fold 60/40 for an even larger load area. The Mazda's seats too, will fold 60/40 if required but the boot itself is accommodating enough and well shaped even though it is not as voluminous as the City's - it's still a great deal bigger than the hatchback's nevertheless.

In terms of cabin ambience, the City has the edge thanks to better materials, softer surfaces and better quality switchgear. The Thai built Mazda feels as every bit as well built as the Japanese made hatch version but just like the latter, the cabin is let down by a lack of perceived quality thanks to the shiny and hard surfaces and switchgear that feel like they lack substance. The City is also sportier inside thanks to the darker materials and sportier looking seat fabric. The Mazda2 Sedan offers a more conservative and grown up overall ambience than its hatch cousin thanks to the beige seat fabric.

The features laden LX version of the City comes with a factory fitted stereo head unit that is iPod compatible and an interface that is similar to Apple's finest music player. The single slot CD player can also read MP3 and WMA files. 16-inch alloys are another desirable standard feature

In top spec LX spec as tested here, the City is a significant $7k more than the Mazda. A base model City comes in at $3k cheaper than the LX but is less well equipped. The Honda City really makes for a very good entry-level saloon if not for its high price. The newer car here, the Mazda2 Sedan is not only more affordable but also more fun to drive - it puts on a good fight against the City despite being the new kid on the block and proved to be a great alternative if you can live with its rear end styling. The City though, is too strong for the Mazda in the aspects that really matter for a small, no frills saloon.

Personally gone have a look on Mazda 2 sedan hatch back and sedan. Quite like the hatchback..solid car there…nice door closing noise. Quality wise it is still a “Mazda” no doubt about it.

Do have chance to look on coming soon “Ford Fiesta”…not bad just me and my dad hate the door closing sound…it sound like closing proton saga or to some extent kancil.

My dad still prefer “Mazda” although fiesta and 2 share same platform…fiesta being advantages of having 1.6L engine and 6 speed power shift dual clutch Auto compare to 2’s 1.5L engine and 4 speed auto. Reason given is Mazda is Japan brand…lolz

Honda have shown that hybrid vehicle can be fun to be drive and not boring like a computer control vehicle.

Love this function very much…3 mode to choose

Sport, Normal, Econ Mode.

Hope such function can be included in future honda’s in malaysia.

Do wonder how a button can change a car characteristic.

Do read lots of review on cars such as Merc or BMW.

A sport button can change the steering feedback, throttle response, and to some extent suspension.

Hope can try it out in future…haha

Lets talk about H1N1..

ohya..this H1N1 is no more…

No more temperature monitoring all..

No more on the news and so on..

It just wipe out from my mind about this influenza flu stuff.

Didn’t give a damn on it…until

My sis come back from penang…she having some fever and cough that night.

The next day, i received sms from my mom say my sis confirm H1N1.

Landed in hospital and so on…didn’t visit her coz she on isolation.

Lucky still got medical insurance…

unpredictable stuff do will happen…

Got my h1n1 vaccines injection..to avoid getting it…can avoid flu also..that’s great

Why i skip class…a book title i read recently..

I rarely skip class..but then this book cover lots of stuff that happen in our college learning environment.Such as:

Because the lecturer say it is CORRECT.

We are grade according to the exam/assignment marks.

Something that is cheap my jalan2 cari makan team sure will not just ignore really…even with lots of stress, we still manage to find 2 hour to go sushi bonanza and get crazy with those people.ohya to utilize the RM20 sushi king card also..if not wasted mah…

Today i got shoot from my lecturer because my english problem..

In my class, few of my classmates from indonesia and china…

guess what in class, we malaysian student will start talking like them…english+BM till 1 of our lecturer so mad with my friend para and ask is this bahasa malaysia class.

This Advertisement by P1 Wimax few months back do caught me surprise…yes is very creative and well hit the competitor that is streamyx.

Ok well, never walk in Green Packet office before but just drive pass it. Today finally walk in personally but is not good news anyway. Actually bringing my classmate to potong away the P1 Wimax.

Walked in the customer services center that they called P1 P@ddock. yes it is very posh, very nice top class customer services center..with LCD TV keep playing the 15 malaysia short movie and the proudest malaysia book of record cert hanging there…

I and my friend just ask how to terminate the services after 1 year contract..to my surprise the contract my friend sign have become 2 years…and there will be penalty fees and so on…i just know that my this silly friend pay the 12 months subscription fees in one big lump sum last time..damn rich and stop using it for more than 6 months after the services become bad.

To our horror, the system didn’t have the record that my friend purchase the modem for RM199 and 1 year become 2 year contract. The most surprise is the staff ask us for the hardcopy receipt that my friend have 1 year back that is lost…i wonder what stupid useless system they using actually?

After long bargaining…like pasar malam style…we given 2 choices…my friend choose to cut it away and get refund for RM70 because he overpay P1 mind you!!!

Observation i got at the customer services center of P1 Wimax. There will be lots of ppl bringing P1 Wimax Modem (funky black box) and throw to the counter staff and say “i want terminate NOW”.

The staff will reply: “sorry sir/miss, you have 2 year contract..you need to pay RM500 penalty fees and so on”…that the most interesting part now!!!

The customer will start emoing and shouting “your services have no standard at all!!!sometime green sometime yellow and red no connection and now you say i cannot terminate??”

Then the staff will say : “we will send our technician to your house and check”…an autie actually shouted back and say “send what?? technician useless lah..your services not stable lah” and continue saying i have try for 6 months and still the same !!

Arguing and exchange of words happen non stop…most customer will say they cannot accept the penalty fees..it is unreasonable and wanted to see the manager….lolz

Ohwell..then your company need to stop getting new customer…
