The Lesson I Learnt

Perodua Myvi don’t have aircon filter?

True Fact or Myth?

I went to the mechanic and ask him to fix the aircon filter for me…he give me a weird stare and say “Myvi have aircon filter already” he just slowly slot it out from the upper part of the blower.17032010222 17032010224

There is the Aircon Filter for Myvi..just the slot to put in is sealed. My mechanic just slowly use a cutter and cut the hole open and slot in the new “Japan Made Active Carbon Filter” and close it with the “Japan Made Bracket”.

He laugh at me and say “yours is Japan Made Imported so got Bracket”..Malaysia Perodua version stupid lah no braket need to take from top.

Stupid or not..the lesson that i got from this incident is don’t trust so much on forum stuff.Lots of fake information given for business sake.

The term “Myvi Don’t Have Aircon Filter” is very misleading. It should be some early batch of myvi do not have aircon filter. I found aircon filter in my 2006 batch of myvi.

Ohwell..I hope the new so called ‘active carbon japan made” filter will work better than the perodua’s. The new slot with braket will allow me to take the filter out more easily when i needed to wash it.

Rm50 for a Plastic Braket…and the mechanic show me other cars engine problem all is priceless.

Honda Co. Ltd. Word on Honda engine block anyone?
