The Battle of Hybrid

Hybrid- a word that not familiar to Malaysian suddenly become so hot topic now.

Again the battle of T and H aka. Toyota and Honda.

Start with Honda Insight

Honda Insight come with 2 stage 1.3L i-Vtec+IMA

Drive and handling is quite good for its class..

Very modern interior, nice 3D style meter

Main attraction is the price at 98K…affordable hybrid car.

Now come the Toyota Prius…the car that Hollywood Artist love it so much that 1 of it got 5 unit of Prius…lolz

Being a larger car than insight do have its advantage and with a 1.8L Atkitson-cycle engine…

The Prius just feel like it is a better hybrid car overall..but with a 140K pricetag.

I feel that Prius is really advance in terms of technology as compare to Insight.

For conclusion, i still feel that there is no logic reason to buy a hybrid because

1) How much petrol will you save..the money you save will be for repair bill in future?…because the battery will cost like 10K to change or repair(battery life will be like 5-10 years)

2) Eco friendly??…it used a lot of energy to manufacture the battery and take a lot of process to recycle it…i do not see the logic

3)How reliable the car is?…not sure, how long the battery will last?.. maybe 5 years to 10 years…we say only cannot guarantee.

With the disadvantages and reliable issue…it is better and more logical to buy a small cc car that save fuel and low maintenance.

I have a hybrid car…but i worry in future this will problem that will problem…

Mars Needs Moms 3D (Premier Screening)

Have the chance to actually watch this movie premier screening at Cathay Cineplex at e@ Curve just now. Been lucky because my sister won the ticket and cannot attend.

Bring my friend KP along so that he can enjoy the movie together and while he can teach me some new road to that area. Also my 1st time to park at Menara Surian that is beside e @Curve

The movie is quite nice…cartoon movie nothing much to expect…storyline is quite good..3D effect is good but not as good as i expected it would be..maybe the 3D not that real for me after my experience of watching Panasonic Plasma 3D tv.

Overall the movie is great if you want to have some laughter and relax yourself after a long day…

The movie will available at major cinema starting tomorrow          (10 March)

Finally end

Time fly…the 4 days part time job have been completed.

The very short 4 days have given me the opportunity to learn the latest technology involve in the AV(Audio Visual) Industry.

Managed to use the most expansive 3D TV…that cost more than 10K.

Kind of addicted to the superb graphic of Blueray Full HD 1080P graphic quality…it is real good!!

Everyday answer the same question from people.

“LCD? LED? Plasma? which to buy?

There is no correct or wrong answer really..depends on what you need.

It may be short 4 days but it actually let me gain lots of experience from it…truly happy about it.

I just saw jay chou concert DVD on LED tv and the quality is quite bad..with lots of noise. hope in future jay chou will record the concert in Full HD just like Celine Dion…

Maybe i watched too many Full HD content and my opinion of clear image have change…

I have the opportunity to join the big family of Panasonic as their Audio Visual Team Sales Personnel.

Quite a new experience for me…yesterday was my 1st day and i am really nervous on it. Still have lots of stuff to learn actually

CNY

Ok..yeay i know that cny going to end soon.

This post come quite late because i am lazy and tired to update.

My CNY as usual will go back to Penang to celebrate…

Ohya it have been quite some time i didn’t back to Penang…more than 6 months i guess.

I know that KL have been raining non stop during the CNY week while i escape to Penang that have fair and very hot weather…

But there is a problem at Penang during CNY…no fireworks…Too expansive while Penangite will save those money to eat..i wonder?

Being poison by 1 of my relative about DSLR. have a long chat with him on DSLR…get lots of information from him…He really know a lot…from his 4 years experiences and as official photographer of Penang bridge marathon…and lots of learning experiences from Penang Top 10 photographer!!He welcome me to join him and learn. But then i have budget problem^^..hahaha maybe in future i will

I hope the year of rabbit will be a great year for everyone!!

APIIT/UCTI BLACK & WHITE AFFAIR 2011

Managed to attend APIIT Year End Gathering aka. YEG… It should be on last year October but postponed till Jan 28 2011.

It will be my last year at APIIT and there will be no excuses for me NOT to attend…if i didn’t attend..i do not think there is a second chance in the future…

Overall it is a great event that organised at Shangri-La KL…

Mixed Feeling

Exam finally finish…

The coming semester is my last…

4 years finally finishing soon.

happy that i will not going back to BBJ.

but going to say good bye to apiit soon.

Unexpected stuff happen..

Loss few friends..

Gained few new friends

Got 1 frenz that i know during working time..

We are from different world…

He good in chinese…bad in english…

I am the opposite of it.

We have the same car…same month same year!!

He shown me how my car can be fuel efficient…480km per full tank??

yeah…i still have not achieved it…lolz

but managed to improve my fuel efficiency

This year also is my 1st time to drive at Penang after like 15 years shift out from there…

Drive a Kelisa to chase around a BMW and a Merc around Penang.

Penang road is fun to go kart…after turn left sure the next junction you must turn right…

Managed to finish kelisa half tank petrol…yey…my sis say i drive very aggressively!!

2010 also mark the year where i become driver more than people drive me around with the endless trip to makan place!!

I hope 2011 will be a more exciting year for me!!

Life is not great as we expected.

It will contain ups and downs.

This few days, i read few of my friends blogs that mostly on the struggle on their life like they are failed in their exam, their FYP rejected…and so on…

Challenge in life…we must face it .

My advice is…

Prepare for the unexpected events.

Do not give up so easily!!

My own believe…

We control the end result…

What we have done will reflect on what we will get after that.

(Tomorrow is my 21st Birthday…pls wish me all the best on the exam..exam is 1 day after my birthday…Great right?…lolz)

Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show '10 (KLIMS)

This is the most talked about event that happening right now..the KL International Motor Show..held from now till 12 Dec at PWTC KL.

Have the chance to visit it with my dad. This is consider the 3rd show i went to..the last 2 is at 2003 and 2006.

2010 is consider the delayed show..because the show original date should be on the end of 2009.

This few months is quite busy month for me

Focus mostly on education…

voila…my 3rd year 1st semester finish with my exam coming.

Getting nearer to graduate…

Peter Pan The Musical

haha…Peter Pan suddenly show up in my life.

I have chance to watch the Musical Show on the 1st public show.. the day after the Gala night.

I have been lucky…because my sister won the competition by just writing about it on her own blog.

The location is at Amphitheatre@ Sunway Lagoon that is a pain to reach..it is deep inside Sunway Lagoon…that need us to walk a while then seat on Train..then walk again…it is wet because rain before the show start.

The Peter Pan cast member…i’m too old to go up stage to take photo with them..lolz..shy lolz

It is a very nice show…1 hour show…but surprising the 1st day show do not attract much crowd…with the venue very empty till the show start…we are given free upgrade to seat the more front row seat because the empty seats.

I do think Malaysian do not prefer live musical theater…like this Peter Pan Musical…West End Production!!…for me personally it is not my 1st time to live theater show…i have opportunity to watch Disney on Ice when i small last time…

Musical theater is nice in some sense that the performance is live and the singing is not pre-recorded with the storyline and stage props changing…

The only thing that Malaysian love is Concert…Some taiwan artist come they will shout like mad…haha jaychou coming for concert edy…confirm ticket sold out…not that i hate jaychou…his overseas concert is way better (some friend show me his concert DVD)..

Few bad experience with concert last time…kelly clarkson for example…lucky is free ticket…if not…really not worth it!!

I have some 50% off voucher for the Peter Pan Musical Show…if interested can take from me…

Social Network-Premier Screening

Yesterday have a chance to watch the premier screening of Social Network movie at GSC MidValley.

Lucky because one of my sister friends won the ticket but have some problem to watch it and offered it to us..yey

This movie is about FACEBOOK… true story of Facebook's founder-Mark Zuckerberg. How he started Facebook on Harvard University when he still studying there…the friends that helped him and then sue him.The whole movie is based on the real story.

Nice movie i would say.

Facebook have come a long way and it is very successful company today.

The movie will release on 2 December 2010…

wow..i have chance to watch it few weeks earlier. Great
