1 month

Started working for 1 month...

Finally started on field for my sales job.

Today is my 1st day fixing appointment and driving around KL to meet client.

This job require me to drive around from morning till finish work.

Friends around me know that i am a person who rarely drive to far away area and guess what.

My job require me to drive until kajang, setapak,wangsa maju and ulu klang area.

I am seriously not familiar with KL area like jalan ampang ,sultan ismail those.

I just realise KL is quite big....lolz and many many office building...menara this and that...

It's a challenge for me...but i am determine to overcome.

A quite challenging job but i am determine to work on it.

I will go all out with a positive mind...

I can do it!!

After 2 Weeks

Been working for 2 weeks now...Quite fast!!
Been busy attending training...training...and training.
For my newbie training, there is few person from other branches joined us for the training.
1 each from Melaka, Kedah and Sarawak...all the way using flight...
Lots of stuff to learn..from product knowledge to technical stuff and networking.
There is just too many functions on MFP machine....it will took weeks to finish understand and learn those function.
And the very pening networking stuff....IP Address, FTP and SMB those.
I really hope I have learn some basic at APIIT before. But sadly nope.
ohya....we meet with a Mac PC last weeks...and have no idea how to configure Mac network....it still fail to connect after telephone guidance from our technical support team. Mac do looks nice but then it is too "hightech" for us to handle.

Few days after I joined Konica Minolta. We celebrated our 30 years Anniversary. Quite a milestone for our company. There is a very nice billboard at the federal highway on the way to MidValley and another at KL near pudu.

There is still lots of stuff that I need to learn before I go on field.

Working Life Started

Finally started my working life.
Never expected it to be so fast.
The coming months will be new experience for me.
Lots of stuff to learn....
Never expected will get a job on the MFP copier industry.
KM have a system that is similar to my FYP WebPrint system.
Will Undergo training for this whole month.
Lots of feature on KM MFP...you name it we have it...
It will take me sometime to learn most of it.

Jobless Graduate-No More

After few rounds of part time job with Panasonic that bring me to Subang Parade, The Summit USJ and then round back to Mid Valley Megamall.
Start the job with AV product (Audio Visual) department such as Plasma, LCD and LED TV then for no reason I landed myself promoting HA (Home Appliances) during my final job at Mid Valley Megamall.
Home Appliances product include washing machine, fridge, vacuum cleaner etc.....lolz
With 0 experience in those products..I open my eye as width as possible and survey around the other competitors products.Learn a lot from the 3 days at midvalley....the most difficult product for me is microwave oven with it crazy functions...lolz

Never expected...I finally got my 1st Permanent Job at Konica Minolta MFP Department.

Quite happy to be given this opportunity...because I look too young...im not even celebrated my 22 birthday.. and I got a job!!....yeah

I know that this job is not easy...it is quite tough...with so many many competitors in the same industry... but I hope I can learn a lot from this job. 

I have experiences in indoor sales job but not outdoor sales job...lolz

I hope the 1 month training can give me more knowledge on the MFP machines.

Need to learn a lot stuff on networking also...

Days Without Laptop

My laptop fail suddenly without any warning before my Final Year Project Presentation (FYP).
ohwell what an sudden crazy moment for me.
Everything turned up quite well for my FYP presentation.
The days without my laptop is quite bored.
I cannot listen to music and watch video as i wish=="
Send my laptop to acer service centre for repair on monday.
Surprisingly, they called me to collect my laptop tomorrow.
Consider very fast as compared with my sis laptop that took nearly 2.5++ weeks to be repaired...hahaha
Hope my laptop will be ok after this!!
There will be extra hassle of reformatting it to window 7 after collecting it from service centre because acer will put back window vista as OEM package of the laptop during purchase.

Lagi Best…Wo..oo

With nearly 500K unit of total volume sold in 5 years +.

Perodua Myvi can be consider as a legendary car.

A phenomena in malaysia car industry.

I own one of it, my friend own one of it, my lecturer own one of it.

It is not the Best car or God car but it is a car with a good overall package.

After 5 years+, finally a replacement will be out in 2 weeks time.

To my surprise, Perodua still maintain the same name “Myvi”

With a new tag line “Lagi Best”

New feature of the new Myvi will be EPS (Electric Power Steering) and Dual Airbag on the whole range. ohya better handling and fuel consumption as compared with the old myvi.

There is also new interior will camry style meter,dashboard mounted auto gear stick and GPS 2 din player.

My old myvi suffered from bad engine pickup performance during hot weather…that i need to switch off the aircon to overtake cars..lolz.

I hope P2 can solve the problem by using EPS and reduce the burden on the engine. First thing i will check on the new myvi is the engine air intake placing…

Kind of disappointed that the 1.3L myvi will launch 1st and the 1.5L will be delay until the end of the year.

How “Lagi Best” the new myvi…i will wait for the launch.

Will the new Myvi will be as successful as the brother it replace?

We will wait and see.

Hope Perodua will not disappoint.

In & Out Of May 2011

The last month have class at APIIT.

The last assignment.

Been very lucky to get some part time job during the end of May.

Never expected any part time job but the offer is consider quite good

Still waiting for my FYP presentation after it is cancelled because APIIT 1st class computer system.

Admin that did not aware that my supervisor on leave?

Need i personally sms my supervisor only i know?

Keep pointing finger and blaming other ppl…

The Ms. Chow no need show her LCLY face and so lanci when i ask about my FYP timetable stuff… Keep saying “i am not aware, is your supervisor fault!!”

APIIT/UCTI very sorry to say that

I will not recommend anyone to study here.

Your award is useless with the sucks customer service.

So difficult to schedule the timetable for FYP presentation.

I can just ask my supervisor and advisor out and personally have the presentation with them.

Need recording?…i just use my own handycam then…better APIIT very damn old tape recording system!! Where got ppl use tape recording now days??

With their system that is not link together…

The Admin famous sentence “We are not aware about it”

I think they just aware that “how much fees i owe them”

and “How much is the tuition fees and etc i need to pay”

Panasonic Road Show

Been busy working at Panasonic Road Show.

Consider the longest ever…7 days.

A photo with Panasonic Evolta Battery Mascot. The mascot is also APIIT student. Consider my junior.hahaha…but he is very professional btw. He like a different person after wearing the suit. Act Cute and so on…bring us some laughter and children love him!!

Been working for panasonic AV line for a while now.

The most common question customer like to ask is

1)“LCD,LED or Plasma TV?” Which is the best?

The answer is LCD and LED is the same basically… the difference is Light Source…LED TV will produce sharper and brighter image with lower power consumption.

As for Plasma…It is pana core product with Pioneer technology.

I will prefer Plasma compared to LCD or LED.

Long hour of viewing TV have train me to spot the different between them.haha

The quality of the TV source is very important. LCD and LED will show pixel image if the source is just a bit less high quality. Plasma TV will show more natural and smooth image

2) HD Ready or Full HD?

Resolution different. i used to think that it is same for HD Ready and Full HD TV…i think it is just a gimmick to put a higher price on Full HD TV.

Btw.. after long hour of viewing TV…i manage to spot the different… very huge different between them. I would strongly recommend Full HD over HD ready.

Plasma TV pricing have drop a lot this year…being very cheap now.

This MV is quite nice by Korean Group SNSD…This is the demo video and look great on Pana TV.

This video can be used to test the performance of the TV video and sound quality…haha.

Lady Gaga latest song Judas…that we manage to stunt our customer by using it as demo video for the roadshow. She is very weird and her song is nice.

Nothing can beat her clothing design!!

Primax 95 Xtra

Xtra Fuel Economy?Xtra Power?

This is the claim from Petronas for the rebranded new fuel.

Been a loyal Petronas user from the Primax 97 to Primax 95 and now Primax 95 Xtra.

Going to finish my second tank,I would say just slightly increase in power…Better fuel economy…for me is just the same…maybe i am a sucks driver.

Overall nothing much Xtra as claim by Petronas

That time i still think that 4 years to complete my degree is quite long.

Spend roughly 1hour 20 minutes with my supervisor for FYP discussion..

Imagine it causes my ex lecturer (last sem) to get uneasy seeing me talking for so long…she actually personally attack me.

“She say i never listen to her class last time, punch me on my shoulder when i cannot reply her question.”

Before she go back home…she even say this to me…

“what time is now??can you stop discussing and doing FYP, go find a GF to date and enjoy your life…have a life”

I really shock after that…i wonder how she can say such words..

Never mine then, lucky she is not my supervisor..

no wonder people say she is a bad lecturer!!

Super Duper High and Weird Requirements

My supervisor has set some requirement for my FYP

1) Improve my  ENGLISH Grammar.

(solution: Enroll  English course?)

2) Visual Presentation…

My supervisor hate my header so much…not beautiful enough… something wrong?…lolz i have change so many times…Upper case lower case..i just use office standard header!!

(Solution: Hire some advertising company to help me design my FYP header and page design so that it will have impressive Visual Presentation….then send to printer to print it like magazines quality paper?)

Ohya buy my supervisor an Ipad 2 so that she can read my FYP on it…

I will try improve my English Grammar..but i guess she want me go for English course 1st then only continue doing my FYP?

New Myvi interior..personally i dislike the steering design..current version better!!

Some rumours Specification Details

There will be 2 version 1.3L and 1.5L

1.3L will divided into EZ,SX,EZI,SXI, and the all NEW ELEGANCE!!

There will be projector headlights, 2 tone colour dashboard, 3D style meter. Elegance Spec will have additional 2 Din Touch Screen Audio System that have GPS, Bluetooth,USB and DVD player.

1.5L will be divided into SE (Special Edition) auto and manual and EE(Extreme Edition) auto and manual.

The additional stuff will include all black interior, Racing Bucket Seat and the very sporty  exterior design.

Will this be Myvi Extreme Edition?? look quite nice

Will the new Myvi consider as a good upgrade for current myvi owners?Will Perodua have some surprise for the current owner?

I think it is a big task for P2 to have a better product to take over or as successor to the current Myvi that is crazily successful until today!

I have waited 5 years and hope P2 will not disappoint me.

Hope the the feature will be 1st and the best for a A segment car.

The projector headlight will beat Proton cars…

Proton took 5 years to implement LED lighting for their brake lights ,side mirror signal lights and also Optitron meter after P2 launch the Myvi in 2004 that have the same feature.

Wonder how the 3D style meter cluster will look like?

The Battle of Hybrid

Hybrid- a word that not familiar to Malaysian suddenly become so hot topic now.

Again the battle of T and H aka. Toyota and Honda.

Start with Honda Insight

Honda Insight come with 2 stage 1.3L i-Vtec+IMA

Drive and handling is quite good for its class..

Very modern interior, nice 3D style meter

Main attraction is the price at 98K…affordable hybrid car.

Now come the Toyota Prius…the car that Hollywood Artist love it so much that 1 of it got 5 unit of Prius…lolz

Being a larger car than insight do have its advantage and with a 1.8L Atkitson-cycle engine…

The Prius just feel like it is a better hybrid car overall..but with a 140K pricetag.

I feel that Prius is really advance in terms of technology as compare to Insight.

For conclusion, i still feel that there is no logic reason to buy a hybrid because

1) How much petrol will you save..the money you save will be for repair bill in future?…because the battery will cost like 10K to change or repair(battery life will be like 5-10 years)

2) Eco friendly??…it used a lot of energy to manufacture the battery and take a lot of process to recycle it…i do not see the logic

3)How reliable the car is?…not sure, how long the battery will last?.. maybe 5 years to 10 years…we say only cannot guarantee.

With the disadvantages and reliable issue…it is better and more logical to buy a small cc car that save fuel and low maintenance.

I have a hybrid car…but i worry in future this will problem that will problem…
